Important Safety Updates ~ 2022
Arlington Pediatrics Ltd. continues to follow the recommendations of the CDC and WHO in an effort to protect the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. Please note the following safety measures put into place for both our well and sick appointments seen in the office.
When you arrive at Arlington Pediatrics for your child’s scheduled appointment, please call and check in FROM YOUR CAR. Our staff will check the patient in, verify insurance, and collect co-pays over the phone. When the nurse is ready, we will call you and bring you directly into a room. This will eliminate people in the waiting area, and limit the amount of contact with other patients and staff members in the building.
In an effort to limit the number of people in the building, please do not bring other family members or siblings to the appointment. They will be asked to wait in the car. If you have unique circumstances please contact our office so we can work on an alternative plan.
Per recommendations of the CDC, we would like all patients and guardians,
2 years and older, to wear a face mask to their appointment. Homemade masks, scarfs, or bandannas are an acceptable alternative to a traditional face mask.
If the patient, or any immediate family member, is experiencing COVID-19 or flu like symptoms, or has been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, please call the office prior to your child’s appointment, so that we can assist with triage and best practice measures.
The safety and well-being of our patients, families and staff is our greatest concern! We appreciate all of your kindness, patience, and understanding as we enforce these safety measures, and continue to schedule appointments. For any questions or concerns, we encourage you to call the office at 847-398-0400.

Parents Are Talking About APL
There Is So Much Support Available To Parents
“I have worked in pediatric critical care for the last decade and am now a mother of two small children. I must say that Arlington Pediatrics is an absolutely incredible practice! The staff are extremely talented clinically and so compassionate and caring at the same time. There is so much support available to parents and children. I have used the help of the Lactation Consultants, grabbed great books from their recommended selection, and been able to leave the office with antibiotics which saved me an extra trip. Any time I have called with a question, the nurses and doctors have always made me feel better. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to the team at Arlington Pediatrics and how lucky I feel that my children have access to such excellent care.”
